The re-start of the elevator is still not scheduled. We have been delayed by faults discovered in the original wiring of the fire alarm system during testing. Our contractor has been troubleshooting these faults and is making progress, but it has been slow, tedious work.
We should have more definitive timelines in the next few working days but the only thing we can say for certain this the problem is not fixed yet. Our contractor, Davco, has its best troubleshooters on the case and our other contractors are making sure things are ready to go as soon the alarm system’s issues are dealt with. The regulator understands the situation and has expressed interest in getting our elevator up and running asap.
We appreciate everyone’s courtesy and adjustment as we continue with this delay. Hopefully, the next update has more positive news and a clearer timeframe.
