We have a number of updates and notices for KOP this week.
Elevator update – all of the electrical issues have now been sorted out with the fire alarm system and they will be able to complete the verification with the engineers on Monday the 29th. Once the certification is available the elevator inspeciton can be completed by AEDARSA (Alberta Elevating Devices & Amusement Rides Safety Association). This should be completed within about 5 to 7 business days of receipt of the certificate. Once the inspection is complete and approved we should be able to allow the elevator to operate.
Heating System shutdown – Trotter & Morton will be shutting down the heating system on October 2nd to complete some repairs to the heating system. The system will be down for about 4 to 5 hours.
Eaves Troughing repairs – Gutter Doctor will be on site in the next week or so to complete repairs to a number of the gutters on the 4th floor of the building. This may impact you privacy while work is being completed. We will endeavour to provide additional updates with specific dates once confirmed.
Parkade door security – We have had a contrator out to look at the issues with the security on the parkade stairwell door. Once a quote has been recieved the board will be reviewing and we should be able to get the system operational and secure again.
